Brow Lamination

Brow Lamination is a brow relaxing treatment which can transform even the most ‘wayward’ eyebrows into a perfect shape enhancing the facial features.

This is the ultimate solution for eyebrows that do not have symmetry or where the hair follows a different pattern, by relaxing the brow we realign the brows in such a way by using creams and serums to give the desired shape required, before tinting, waxing and shaping. A full package brow treatment.

Maintenance: To maintain brows, the treatment should be repeated every 2 months giving the eyebrow hair time to re-grow and the colour to fade.

Treatment time: Allow 45 minutes

Cost: £40.00 (plus aftercare, recommended Castor Oil, see below)

RECOMMENDED AFTERCARE: The aftercare advice is given to ensure that all clients understand what should and should not be done 24 hours post treatment for longevity of the results.

  • Keep brows DRY for at least 24 hours avoiding any moisture whatsoever.

  • USE a brow conditioner daily (after the initial 24 hours) I recommend Castor Oil which is available to purchase at the clinic £7.50 or London Brows lash and brow serum.

  • Do NOT apply make-up or receive any other eye treatments for at least 24 hours after your treatment.

  • Avoid swimming/saunas for 24-48 hours.

  • Avoid the temptation to over touch the brow area after treatment.

  • Do NOT allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat; the use of sunbeds, saunsas, steam rooms and swimming pools.

  • Do NOT apply Retin-A, AHA or exfoliate around the brow area for 3 days either side of treatment.

  • No self-tanning products should be used on the face for 48 hours after treatment.

  • If any stinging or swelling occurs, keep applying a cold dampened cotton pad, cold compress or cooling spray to sooth, if it persists seek medical advice and let your technician (Kate) know immediately so notes can be made on your record card.

RECOMMENDED AFTERCARE: DON’Ts

Here are 6 things to avoid doing to keep your LVL lashes looking their best:

  1. Don’t get your lashes wet for the first 48 hours, and avoid steam, saunas and swimming. It’s also worth avoiding the gym or heavy exercise for the first 24 hours

  2. For tinted lashes, avoid strong sunlight or UV light for the first 24 hours. If you want to top up your tint, just return to your salon after 4 weeks

  3. Try not to touch or rub your eye area, especially when washing or cleansing your face

  4. After your treatment, avoid sleeping on your front or side, so your lashes don’t get disturbed whilst they set in place

  5. Don’t use lash curlers, they can be harsh on your natural lashes. With LVL, you won’t need them anyway

  6. No oil-based make-up or remover. Our aftercare range offers some simple water-based alternatives
